Guatemala

The Guatemala Programs can last up to 6 months. Each additional two weeks costs $140. 

Spanish Classes

One week of Spanish classes, 20 hours of instruction. is included in the program fee. ELI can arrange additional weeks of classes for $80 a week. The classes are either in Antigua or a small town outside the city.

Housing

Participants will stay with local host families. The host families will provide participants with breakfast and dinner each day.

Start Dates

The start dates for the Guatemala programs are completely flexible. We ask that participants not arrive December 24 and 25 in order to allow our coordinator and his staff to spend the Christmas holiday with their families.   

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in the program fee. We prefer to let participants decide what kind of coverage they need. Please see our FAQ page for information on travel insurance.

All prices are listed in US Dollars. The program fees reflect the costs ELI faces when setting up a program. We work hard to keep our costs as low as possible. ELI is a registered 501(c)3 non profit. US taxpayers may be able to deduct some or all of the program fees.
