    Surugu Charity Center

Community charity Centers are projects meant to take care of children in rural communities who are left loitering around on their own with no education, lack of family discipline and poor nutritional status with no health care. Some of the children at the centres are typical orphans (both parents dead) whiles some have both parents alive but not capable to take care of them whereas others have only their mother alive (but married to a different man then the father). The centres simply offer these children the basic learning lessons that will equip them to fit into any governmental school. This is because most of the children are above the standard school going age. In this case, the children get to stay with their relatives (either grandmother or mother) whiles they come to the centre every day from 8:00am to 1:30pm.
